I think you're operating on news from about 5 months ago. The team is being sold to a local group and just negotiated a new lease with the city that will keep the team here for at least 3-5 years. Possibly much longer. Of course i'm also a conspiracy theorist and don't entirely trust the few outside investors that are part of the new (mostly) local ownership group.
