A reader just reminded me that there’s also a tour that takes you out to see the Jack Daniels Distillery. I haven’t been on that one I’m afraid. I guess I prefer thinking they make their whiskey with some kind of magic.

But I can see where people might want to see how they do it, see the process in action. And I’m assuming there are probably a few samples here and there to keep things interesting.

Plus, Lynchburg is a nice little town. And you’ll get to see some of the Tennessee countryside on your way out there from Nashville. It really is beautiful country, especially if you’re here in the springtime.

I forgot to ask the guy if they give you a deal on bottles in the gift shop. That would be good to know…
