What a weekend. Dora and I had planned a weekend away, and we did get away, but I ended up spending the entire time in bed sick. Not fun. And poor Dora. She even had to eat dinner by herself on Saturday.

The upside, if you want to call it that I guess, is I got a lot of TV time in. I don’t typically watch a lot, and was reminded why. (How many shopping channels do we need!) But I did get hooked on the food channel! I must’ve watched five hours of that!

It really is food porn. And I wasn’t even hungry! But now that I’m finally feeling better, I can’t wait to get Dora and me over to Tex’s for some pulled pork, jalapeno beans and sweetbread! They should send a kickback to Bobby Flay.
