Just saw Dark Knight. Is it just me or are movies taken from comic books the most interesting movies these days? “Iron Man” and “Dark Knight” are the two best things I’ve seen this summer.

If you’d rather read comics than see movies made from them, Nashville has your dream spot at Great Escape. If it has panels and says “Pow!” or “Smack!” anywhere they probably have it.

They probably have a couple hundred thousand new and used comics, including those rare collectors’ items. You can tell your wife that you’re doing movie research. Honey, I’m just seeing what’s playing at the movies — a couple years from now.

If you don’t give a “Bam!” about comics they also have thousands of CDs, DVDs, magazines, photos. Rows and rows worth of stuff. You’ll walk out of there with your eyes all blurry.
