I just learned that over at the Sarratt Cinema on Vanderbilt Ave. they have these free movies from all over the world. Why didn’t I know about this? That’s the kind of thing I need to know about. Something else I learned from one of our guests.

So I guess the deal is this (I just checked): They are in the process of showing 27 movies from 21 different countries. And what’s really interesting is that they often have a discussion afterward it looks like. (I could’ve used that after seeing Titus Andronicus the other day.)

It’s called the International Lens Film Series and it goes until Dec. 3. Movies start at 7 p.m. You can see the schedule on their website. And what do you know, parking is also free!
