A week ago, the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum held Nashville on the Rocks, a special night where all kinds of fantastic drinks made with specialty vodkas, rums, whiskeys, tequilas and gins were served. Don’t worry, it wasn’t just drinking. There was also plenty of great food and a lot of displays to check out, as well. If you haven’t been to the museum, I’d highly recommend it, of course you’ll have to wait until next year’s Nashville on the Rocks before you can drink there, too.
Here are some photos of the event to hold you over until next year:

Thanks for looking,

You guys know me. I think Hotel Preston is a great place to work, and a great place to stay. There’s just no other spot like it in the city. And that is not bragging it’s just a fact. But I tend to leave it at that. It’s one of those things you’ve got to just experience for yourself.
But here’s the thing. Right now we’re having this great deal going and I just don’t want anyone saying I didn’t tell them. So here’s the skinny. Right now we’ve got a deal running that will give you 10% off our best available rate, as long as you pre-pay. A seriously great deal.
I’ll tell you, there’s nothing like one of our beds to help you relax and accentuate the positive.

OK, so here’s the deal. This month is what we call Awesome April around here. And there are so many music events going on during the month that it’s impossible to write about all of them. So, here are a few teasers to get you started.
First, get your spiritual groove on and hit Gospel Music Week, with more than 100 musical performances, panels, and workshops. It runs April 18-22.
And then on the last Saturday in April, the 25th, head over to Centennial Park for the Country Music Marathon and half Marathon. There will be 50 bands playing on 27 stages.
You better take some days off work. You could be busy this month.
