Oh, I wanted to mention that I have actually seen a guest bring their cat in with them. The best part? I’ll be darned if she didn’t have it on a leash. I kid you not. Strangest thing I ever saw. I seem to recall that the animal even had its own luggage.

While we’re talking about pets, I just ran across a story that just really got me. It’s for all the animals that survived the tornado in Macon County on February 5th but haven’t been claimed by their owners yet. It just breaks your heart.

So, if you’re from Macon Co. and lost a pet, check with the Nashville Humane Society. Otherwise, anyone looking to give a lost animal a good home, these pets will be available for adoption after March 9. You can check the web site for more information.

Ya’ll know you can bring your dog to Hotel Preston, right? I forget to mention it even though I don’t think many places let you do that, which is a cool thing we do I think. Anyways, yeah, we’re a pet friendly hotel.

Yesterday this woman came in with her two Chihuahuas and they were the funniest little animals you ever saw! Pancho and Corona. Brother and sister. One black, one brown. My dog could’ve inhaled them without even knowing it.

The best part was she had put a necklace on the girl and the boy wore a collar that looked like a bowtie! And she had them in this double-decker dog carrier bag she had made just for them that was on wheels! Hilarious.

So if you’re on your way to see us, remember your dog is welcome, too. And your cat. Just let us know. We even have a special menu for pets. (Pancho told me the hamburgers are the best!)

This one is for all you pets out there (I’ve never actually caught Shadow or Macie using the computer, but I know they do when we’re at work!). Hotel Preston welcomes you! It’s true. I know you’re used to being left behind on trips and not allowed into hotels. But not at Hotel Preston.

So pack your bags and head on over to Nashville. We’ll greet with your own water bowl, a surprise toy and a yummy treat. Plus, when you need to run around, Hotel Preston is situated in a beautiful outdoor woodsy area perfect for sniffing, exploring and chasing balls.

Now you can tell your family you’re coming on their trip to Nashville. Or you can come out on your own. Shadow and Macie would love to meet you, and so would all of us at Hotel Preston!
